DRA offers horse riding lessons in Brockville, Dunedin. We offer a safe, convenient location to learn to ride or advance your riding - on our horses! Our team of horses has been carefully selected to match a range of riders, from beginners to experienced riders, we can cater for all!
What to expect?
We pride ourselves on creating a fun, safe learning environment. There’s more to horses than just the riding side - we teach general horsemanship and care. Your lesson will begin with learning to groom your mount, tack up and pieces of tack and then the riding. We cater to a range of learning styles, and are great at working with you to bring out your confidence and build your capabilities. After riding, we untack and groom the horse. Your riding lesson will be around 45 minutes!
What to bring?
The standard requirements are comfortable clothes, and close toed boots - ideally with a small heel. On your first few sessions - don’t stress this! We can help guide you to the right shoe. Helmets and all horse gear is provided on site.

Horsemanship Sessions

Grazing
At Dunedin Riding Academy, our grazing offers top-notch and accommodation. With spacious equi-fenced paddocks - regularly maintained, an arena and tack space.
